Lode Exchange is responsible for the personal data described here. Privacy requests: info@lode.exchange.

Browsing the site without an account collects no personal data in our own systems.

Forms. If you submit the investor or owner form, we keep the details you enter and receive them by email, so we can reply to you.

Accounts. If you create an account, we keep your name, email address and company, and any phone number, country and investor type you add on your profile. Your password is never stored in readable form.

NDAs. When you sign a project's confidentiality agreement, we record the name and company you type, your email address, the date and time, your IP address, your browser details and the full text you agreed to. This lets us and the project owner prove the agreement was made. A PDF copy is emailed to you and to us.

Documents. Files you upload are stored privately and can be seen only by you and our team.

We use this information to run the site, reply to you, manage NDAs and data room access, and meet our legal obligations. We rely on the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interest in operating the platform, and legal obligations as the lawful bases for this.

We use a small number of providers who process data for us: a cloud database and sign-in service that stores accounts, NDA records, form submissions and uploaded documents; an email delivery service that sends form notifications, account emails and NDA copies; and a web hosting provider. They act only on our instructions.

Your account details, NDA records and uploaded documents are visible only to you and to our team. We do not sell personal data.

The site may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies or collect personal data.

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Signed NDA records are kept for at least as long as the NDA lasts and any period in which a claim could be made under it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

You can view and update your details at any time on your profile page.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Email info@lode.exchange to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
